the palais princier
The official residence of the Prince Of Monaco, the palace was founded in 1191. There are guided tours of the Palace each day that run nearly around the clock. With it's breaktaking panoramic view over the Port and Monte-Carlo, it is truly a beautiful and wonderous site to behold. The changing of the guard can be witnessed daily at 11:55 AM, in front of the Palace entrance.
saint nicholas cathedral
Also known as the Monaco Cathedral, it is the Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Monaco, where many of the Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly. Services take place on the major religious festivals, such as the Feast of Sainte Dévote(January 27th), and the National Holiday (November 19th). A magnificant four-keyboard organ is played during religious music concerts. From September through June, “Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco” and the singers of the Cathedral Choir School sing during mass every Sunday at 10:00am. Mass is also celebrated here each year on December 6th, when primary children gather for a joyful remembrance of St. Nicholas' life.

One of the most notable tourist attractions of Monaco. The casino complex is a gambling facility which also includes the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, an opera and ballet house, and the headquarters of the Ballets de Monte Carlo. It hosts the annual European Poker Tour Grand Final. With it's incredible archictecture, it is intricate in design and detail.

The sole public beach, it can get a tad crowded throughout the Summer. With shower cabanas, restuarants and shops, it can easily provide a day of entertainment for any family.
